Executive Opinion Survey 2014
The Executive Opinion Survey is a major component of The Global Competitiveness Report and provides the key ingredient that turns the Report into a representative annual measure of a nation's economic environment and its ability to achieve sustained growth. The Survey gathers valuable information on a broad range of variables for which hard data sources are scarce or non-existent. The results of the Executive Opinion Survey are also a key ingredient for our other report series, such as The Global Information Technology Report, The Travel & Tourism Competitiveness Report, The Global Enabling Trade Report, The Financial Development Report and The Global Gender Gap Report.
The World Economic Forum's Global Competitiveness Report (GCR) (www.weforum.org/gcr) is widely recognized as the world's leading cross-country comparison of factors affecting economic competitiveness and growth. First released in 1979, the Report provides the most comprehensive assessment of competitiveness of over 140 economies.
